Graduating From Chugach Optional Elementary School

By Nora Clark

I will admit that when it comes to leaving the school I become a pessimist. Why would I want to leave this school, a beautiful one of creativity and art? I don’t mean physical beauty, but things like the kuspucs, the tie-dye, and pennies for peace. The way every one pitches in willingly. But pessimists don’t enjoy life as much as optimists.

Aren’t pessimists just people who are afraid of their future? Lemony Snickit said that "Fate is like a strange, unpopular restaurant, filled with odd waiters who bring you things you never asked for and don’t always like." I like what the odd waiters brought me: Chugach. But I’m not sure that I like the looks of Junior High. Oh well, maybe it’s an acquired taste.
