Jefferson Randolph "Soapy" Smith (2 pages)
The notorious "Soapy" Smith and his outlaw band fleeced the innocent and the foolish as they passed through town en route to the Klondike.


Lee Hing, or "China Joe" (2 pages)
The man remembered as "China Joe" in Southeast Alaska lived during the Gold Rush era in a time and place where the motto was "Every man for himself."


E. T. Barnette (2 pages)
