Summit Roadhouse

Several of Alaska's roads crossed summits, so more than one roadhouse bore that name. The frame architecture of the Summit Roadhouse on the Steese Highway's Cleary Summit, northeast of Fairbanks, reflects more modern design. The roadhouse is no longer standing. Alaska State Library.
