An Alaskamber Oil Co. rig on Mirror Slough in the Bering River Oil Fields. Comments on the back of the photo note, "The well is down 300 feet. Work is being carried on at present, July 1, 1922. Gas seepages and oil seepages abound in this vicinity." Archives, University of Alaska Fairbanks.
