The road from Fairbanks to Ester

The road from Fairbanks to Ester looked like this in 1908. It was integrated into the highway system with the building of a road between Fairbanks and Nenana. Eventually that segment, too, was included in the Parks Highway. Archives, University of Alaska, Fairbanks.
