Ray B. Dame photographs a pole

In 1938, photographers such as Ray B. Dame and Otto Clarence Schallerer were part of the CCC project to restore or replicate totem poles. Here, Dame photographs a single pole that was installed for a city park in Ketchikan. Anchorage Museum of History and Art, Library and Archives.
