Senator Gruening congratulates the William Randolph Hearst Scholars from Alaska. Loren Leman (left) of Ninilchik would grow up to become lieutenant governor in Frank Murkowski’s administration from 2002-2006. The other recipient was Tom Anderson of Anchorage.
