The Alaska State Library houses a collection of Point Barrow photographs by Rev. Samuel Spriggs, dating from 1899 to 1908. This image shows a woman joining in the blanket toss during Nalukataq. The flag of the successful whaling crew flies at left. Photo notes say, "Nalukataq was held at different spots on the beach." Alaska State Library.
