Dr. Charles E. Bunnell's pet moose calf

Dr. Charles E. Bunnell (1878-1956), founding president of the Alaska Agricultural College and School of Mines (University of Alaska), was fond of his pet moose calf, and regretted that the animal eventually ate too many pancakes, leading to its death. Archives, University of Alaska Fairbanks.
