The “wireless station” and telegraph tower at Fort Gibbon is
pictured in this card postmarked July 12, 1910, Tanana, Alaska. Addressed to
Mrs. Warren Webster in New York, the postcard was written by a Mrs. Jim
Dodson as she and her husband were preparing to leave Alaska for San Francisco. Anchorage Museum of History and Art, Library and Archives.
