A couple of years ago I had a cat, but since it was a male I gave it to my sister. We weren't allowed to take our cats out of our house, and my sister took him out to town. He slipped his collar and we've never heard of him since. And since I didn't have a cat, I really wanted one. And so, after a couple of years my Mom finally let me have a kitten. She was white all over except for the tip of her tail, the tip of her nose and the tips of her ears. She was a piece of fluff when we got her. We were going to name her Cream Puff, Snowball and all sorts of other names. We finally settled on Princess Rosemary because the soles of her feet were a purplish, pinkish color. And then after a bit, her paws turned a little bit lighter and so we settled on Princess Pearl. And so that was her name, but we call her Princess for short. When we got her she was sleeping a lot. But as she got older she got restless and soon she was ambushing us and running after our feet. She's a silly little cat. My sister had another cat besides the one that she lost, named Pickle. Pickle was an outdoor cat but after a couple of months we let her in because my sister was toilet training the other one. Can you believe it, toilet training a cat? Well, I guess it's working. The two cats, Pickle and Princess, fought almost every day. My sister and I have to share a room and we got woken up about once every hour because Pickle and Princess were fighting. They've settled down a little now, but Princess still follows Pickle around and starts a little fight every once in a while. Taking care of the cats is hard work. I have to feed and water them and my sister has to change the cat litter because she's the one who is toilet training them. I have to sweep the floor as well. I have to do it whenever I see or feel the cat litter or food on the floor, which is about once every three minutes. It's hard but then again I'm lucky because a lot of the time I'm not at the house. I love having Princess. She's all I've ever wanted for a cat. The first night Princess was here she had to sleep outside and just about broke her neck from jumping off a box. I found her in a tire. She was shivering to death. Right now she's sleeping by my Mom's window upstairs in our house. She is enjoying the sun, I can tell. I have so much to say about my wonderful cat, but I've told you most of my information. Actually, I think I've written down everything. She's almost half a year old now. She's the best cat in the world and I hope she lives a long and happy life. I'm going to keep her until she's dead. She'll never have another owner unless I absolutely have to get rid of her.
