My
most important thing would have to be this picture of my 2000-2001
hockey team. We used teamwork and it paid off. My hockey team was
superior to the other teams in the state tournament, so we got to
travel to Anaheim, California, for Regionals. Unfortunately, we placed
second. We went on numerous other trips as well.
When we went to Anaheim, we went to an amusement park by the name of
Knott's Berry Farm. It was such a stimulating happening that I would
like to remember the people I went with. These people should always be
cherished in my memory.
That is one of the reasons I chose this particular photograph, so I
could remember all the people who I got to know so fully. An additional
incentive is because hockey is my most preferred thing to do. The wind
rushing on my face when I am skating is an absolute thrill. It clears
my mind when I am feeling angry or down.
One final reason is because two of my family members were part of my
hockey team; therefore they were included in this photo. My father was
the head coach, and my sister was the captain and on the starting line.
My family and hockey are two of the most important things in my life.
In this picture, I could have two parts of my family and the sport I
love together. This photo has both, so I feel I should treasure it
forever.
