Colton's Important Thing
By Colton
Genre: Non-fiction
Category: Student Examples

WinchesterMy most important thing to me is my four-year-old dog named Winchester. He is a black lab and loves to play. He will eat anything you give to him, and he will fetch everything. He is a good hunting dog and kind of a good guard dog. He can run as fast as a car, and he is as strong as a bull.

When my dog sleeps it is like nothing could wake him, but when he is awake, nothing can make him sleep. He can run all day and one bowl of water will revitalize him for the next day. Also, every morning he wakes me up by licking my face once.

Whenever I take out the garbage he will grab a pizza box in his mouth and put it away. I'll say, "Get your leash," and he will run over to the door and get it. When I take him for a walk, he puts the leash in his mouth and he walks me. The most important thing to me is my black lab Winchester, who is four years old and is the best dog in the world. I love my dog.
