For the past seven years, from the age of six, I have played the sport of soccer. I have tried many other sports, but have found none to be as fun. Every game I get ready, putting on my soccer gear and getting ready to play. But of all my gear, my shoes are the most important.

On the field and off the field they have been my partner, assisting me in making the perfect pass in a game, or just assisting me in my backyard when kicking the ball around.

Each game is like a battle, and these shoes have been the sword by which I fight. They have shared a realm of emotions with me, from the joy and pride of winning, to the agony and disappointment of losing.

I believe that my shoes are a type of link. They connect me to my past, and in a way connect me to the future of soccer that awaits me. My soccer shoes are one of the few but great things I treasure.
