Daniel's Important Thing
By Daniel
Genre: Non-fiction Level: Elementary 4-6
Category: Student Examples

Daniel?s BibleThe Bible lets me know that I have a purpose on earth. The Bible, to me, is a map that you have to follow everything it says to reach the treasure. Even though sometimes I slip out of the guidelines of the Bible, I try to stay in them as much as possible. The Bible also gives me hope that when the Lord returns he will fulfill his promise to the church. The Bible is also the most accurate account of God's word. I believe in God's word. I know that nothing will change my feelings about it. My mom and my dad always tell me that God comes first and that I shouldn't let anything come before Him. From my recollection, I haven't let anything come before Him so far, and I don't plan on doing so any time soon. I also feel that the Bible is a resource to gaining knowledge about God. If you study the Bible, and really start to understand it, you can't go wrong. You can't just memorize the Bible, and then expect to understand it, and then get a real relationship with God. You have to work at it. I really love the Lord.
