Eagle grave marker

In 1941, this Eagle grave marker at Howkan was identified and removed. Later, master carver John Wallace created a similar totem from his memory of this one for display at Mud Bight. Today it stands near the trail entrance of Totem Bight State Historical Park, outside Ketchikan. Alaska State Library.
