Father and son, Noel and Merrill Wien

Father and son, Noel and Merrill Wien, were photographed in 1974 near a Wien Air Alaska Cessna 185, possibly in Fairbanks. At age 75, Wien kept his commercial pilot’s license current. He also possessed a license issued by the Federation Aeronautique Internationale of the USA, signed by Orville Wright in 1926. Anchorage Museum of History and Art, Library and Archives.
