Yak at Agricultural Experiment Station

The Agricultural Experiment Station in Fairbanks studied a small herd
of yak in the 1920s. Decades later, a faculty housing project built on
their former grazing land was named Yak Estates. Alaska Museum of
History and Art, Library and Archives.
