Workers at the Kanakanak Hospital posed for a photo with visitor Frank Whitlam, captain of the Bureau of Education supply ship Boxer. He is second from right. Others in the photo are identified as, from left, Mrs. Andree Brems, Herman Sanvick, chief nurse Mrs. Irene Savage, Capt. Whitlam, and Miss Flora Marshal, who was in charge of the hospital kitchen.
