The youngest children at the Kanakanak orphanage

The youngest children at the Kanakanak orphanage gathered for a group photo. Most of their parents were killed by diseases such as influenza and tuberculosis. The orphanage was open between 1919 and 1930. Archives, University of Alaska Fairbanks.
