The SS Farallon

AMRC-b90-3-9
The SS Farallon, four weeks before she hit Black Reef in Alaska’s Cook Inlet. This postcard was sent to a Miss Ada Holser in Oakland, California, and dated August 22, 1910. “Dear Ada,” the sender wrote. “This is a picture of the boat I came from Seward on last winter. She was wrecked a few days after I left her, over in the country I am going to this winter. Tom.” Anchorage Museum of History and Art, Library and Archives.
