Team fresh from the Iditarod goldfields

Photographer Lillie N. Gordon photographed a team fresh from the Iditarod goldfields after arriving in Seward with a load of gold dust. The photo captions reads "1/2 ton gold dust largest shipment ever carrie by dog team in alaska value $210,000. Consigned to Brown and Hawkins arrived in Seward From Iditarod Dec 23, 1910." Seward Community Library Association
