Project Sedan - Explosion |
About 1/3 of the tonnage planned for Project Chariot was used on Project Sedan in 1962 at the Nevada test site. Sedan provided the AEC with much of the information they sought to learn from Chariot and enabled scientists to declare Chariot redundant.
