The Alaska-Juneau Gold Mining Company was sometimes called "Little Treadwell" because it began with Treadwell's old five-stamp mill. Photographed here by Winter & Pond in 1914 is A-J Gold Mining's 40-stamp mill and Number 2 Rock House. Alaska State Library.
