Rika's Roadhouse

The roadhouse at Big Delta, called a "luncheon stop" in this 1928 photo, was also known as Rika's Roadhouse, named for the Swedish immigrant who worked there for many years before owning the place herself. Rika's has been restored and is part of the Big Delta State Historical Park in Delta Junction. Alaska State Library.
