Three men on the porch of a Taku Lodge cabin

ASL-P44-02-157

Three men are pictured standing on the front porch of a Taku Lodge cabin. The main building was built of palisaded or vertical logs, while the cabins were built using a notched log construction. After Mary Joyce took over ownership of the Twin Glacier Camp, she renamed it Taku Lodge and turned it into a tourist resort with accommodations for 30 guests. Alaska State Library.
