Slide # 195: Seattle Mountaineers Mt. McKinley Expedition, 1964

From notes provided by Peter Haase: "Up ahead, a lumber rig which had jackknifed in the soft shoulder and was blocking the ALCAN highway. Occured before we reached Canadian Customs at Beaver Creek. View is from the Nash Ramble in which Pat Chamay and I rode; the Nash was over the cab of Rich's truck." Archives, University of Alaska Fairbanks.
