A pet of Pete Buchholz

Judge James Wickersham (1857-1939) regards a moose in harness, a pet of Pete Buchholz, left. The third man is William McPhee. Notes on the back of the photo relate, "Moose was a pet of Buchholz, who had a harness for it and would drive it around Fairbanks." Archives, University of Alaska Fairbanks.
