My Grandma Lives Next Door
By Audrey Hobart Anderson
Genre: Poetry Level: Elementary K-3
Category: UAA/ADN Creative Writing Contest

My grandma lives next door,

Lives next door, lives next door.

My grandma lives next door, she's kind to everyone.

My grandma sleeps next door,

Sleeps next door, sleeps next door.

My grandma sleeps next door, she likes everyone.

My grandma eats next door,

Eats next door, eats next door.

My grandma eats next door, she is so much fun.

My grandma knits next door,

Knits next door, knits next door.

My grandma knits next door, she loves everyone.

My grandma owns next door,

Owns next door, owns next door.

My grandma owns next door, she lives in the sun.
