I yelled, "Hey Mika, let's catch that little red bug!!!"

"Where?" asked Mika.

"There, swimming in the water," I pointed excitedly.  "First one to catch it gets a chocolate bar!"

The battle was on!!

I flopped down onto my tummy to try to catch the bug.  When it swam out farther I jumped up onto my knees thinking only about the chocolate bar.  I reached out as far as I could off the floating dock.  Then Mika shifted places.  SPLASH!!  I fell off the dock!!!

So Mika had to reach quickly and grab me by the hair and pull me out!!

This is the weird part...  After Mika pulled me out she asked, "Why didn't you push off the bottom?"

"Because, I didn't want to get my shoes dirty!" I shrieked.

After Mika and I got back to the house, I took a bath and then I got dressed.  Mika said, "Even though you didn't catch the bug you still can have the chocolate."

"Thanks," I said, and I ate it up.

THE END
