I always thought of the world as a one-time chance, one mistake and you are ruined; your life will never be the same again. I also was afraid of growing up. I had one chance at the world and I wanted to live it right. I also was afraid of dying. I wanted to live my life through without disturbances. Then I read your book Turnabout.

Turnabout captured the aspects of life I had never looked into or even saw. Anny Beth and Amelia somewhat wanted to die. There they were at age 90 all ready to die thinking this was it, they had a good life and that was that. You need to enjoy life as you go on and not dwell on the past. I think all people need to live on those words.

I was surprised how the book ended. It stopped and didn't say if Anny Beth and Amelia died, stayed at age one, or aged again. There is no sequel and I wanted to know how it ended. This is a great book but the ending startled me. I also wondered how you came up with the idea for the book.

This book didn't change my life, but it did alter my mind and how I look at life. Now I take precautions when I have to and risks when I can. If I make a mistake, I do not think too much of it because I know I have many more years and many mistakes ahead of me. This might be a one-time chance, but mistakes are mistakes most can not be taken back and fixed, but you live it through. It is amazing what one book will do to you. My feet were once planted in the ground, after I read your book, they have begun to loosen up. You can say Turnabout turned me around in a way.
