Phillip's Postcard from the Russian River

Phillip's drawing

December 2002

Dear Tanner Clark,

I usually do fishing at Russian River. The reason why I do that is because it's really fun to fish for salmon. There are lots of red salmon, which are very often here. Also, king salmon and trout are very often too. Silvers can come but they aren't very often. There are ferries. We cross the river to fish on the other side. We also use it to get back also. Some people bring their own boats to get here. Sometimes when the water level gets too high, the people just go fishing on the parking lot side. Russian River is good like all the other rivers.

From,
Phillip
