Katherine's Postcard from Homer

Katherine's drawing

Dear Mrs. Wilcox,

My favorite part of Alaska is Homer, because you can catch sea animals like hermit crabs, small fish, mussels, jellyfish, and maybe even starfish! It is very excellent to see an otter, but I saw seals chasing the salmon. We brought nets to catch sea animals. When we visited it was sunny all the visit, except the day we left! It was very rocky there, and it had clamshells and rotten oysters there too. (Eeew!) We went there with a little trailer connected to our truck. It was very neat!

Sincerely,
Katherine
