Dear Dad,

My favorite place in the world is our cabin on the Richardson Clearwater near Fairbanks, Alaska. I like this place because of the squirrels that come and chew and take the peanuts we bring them, the sound of the birds flying over the calm water, the fish biting at the end of our fly rods, and the bumpy four-wheeler trail that makes you feel like you're on a bucking bronco in the Sullivan Arena. What I like best is spending time with you and the rest of our family who have cabins there.
