Colin's Postcard from the Kenai Peninsula and River
By Colin Bohan
Genre: Visual Arts
Year: 2001 Category: LitSite Alaska's Postcard Contest

Colin's photo

Here you will find everything -- from glaciers to salmon-filled coastal streams to clear mountain lakes. The Kenai Peninsula is where the water runs clear and calm during the winter, especially along the salmon streams, and where RVs line the margins of the road and fishermen stand shoulder to shoulder in the water at the busy time of the year. This is why the Kenai is my favorite place in Alaska.
